Additional Information: Paul Krings was born on 2nd August 1915 and died on 21st December 1940. The date of death is different on his grave, however CWGC records state the correct date. Part of a crew flying a Dornier 17z-3 which was shot down over the sea near Eastbourne by Spitfires. He was washed ashore on Hastings beach. Information from Air Crew Remembered here.
