Additional Information: Emily Marchant, aged 28, was killed when an unknown number of bombers dropped 20 HE bombs on Canute Road, Offa Road, Martineau Lane, Broomgrove, Pine Avenue and Ore. Two people were killed in the raid with a further eleven injured, three seriously.
Emily, married to Corporal Alfred Marchant, was the daughter of Mr A & Mrs J Histed. She lived at 24 Clement Hill Road.
