Additional Information: Louisa Winborn, aged 50, died when an lone bomber dropped 3 high explosive bombs and one oil incendiary bomb on Albion Street, Halton, Valley Side Road and the High Street, Old Town. Her husband, Robert Winborn was also killed in the attack.
Louise was the daughter of Mr & Mrs J Harbour. Her surname is spelt ‘Wimborne’ on Hastings War Memorial, but I have kept to the spelling shown on the grave marker.
