Additional Information: Mary Frazer, aged 58, was wounded near to her home at 4 Earl Street when multiple bombers dropped 40 high explosive bombs on Queens Road, Nelson Road, Milward Road, St Mary’s Terrace, Ashburnham Road, Mount Road and Priory Road. She died the same day at the hospital. Two other people were killed in the raid and a number of others wounded.
Mary’s surname is spelled “Fraser” on the CWGC records.
