Additional Information: Alice Rummery, aged 34, was wounded when multiple bombers dropped 40 high explosive bombs on Queens Road, Nelson Road, Milward Road, St Mary’s Terrace, Ashburnham Road, Mount Road and Priory Road. She died on 26th January 1941 at Royal East Sussex Hospital. Two other people were killed in the raid and a number of others wounded.
