Additional Information: George Brooker, aged 50, was killed when a single bomber dropped one HE bomb that hit the Plaza Cinema on Robertson Street, Hastings. Thirteen other people were killed and thirty five injured, twelve seriously.
George lived at 16 Perth Road, St Leonards on Sea. I was unable to locate George’s grave marker in the main area of WW2 war graves, so he is likely buried else where on site. I will look to find it when I revisit Hastings Cemetery.
